I was introduced to MUD Make-Up about 2 years ago. I first fell in love with the foundation – it gave beautiful coverage without looking plastered on – and it didn’t leave my skin feeling dry or irritated. Then I started using the bronzer – WOW – this is my ultimate favourite product from MUD (actually favourite beauty product allround!) I’ve recommended it to ALL of my clients, simply because this specific colour bronzer leaves all skins with a natural radiant appearance! It’s easy to apply and I never leave home without it. I don’t wear the entire make-up DO every day, especially since Hazel was born (I know you can relate, yes!) And so I’ll most often revert back to 1. Foundation 2. Bronzer and 3. Mascara! Note to number 2… it’s a must.
I had many questions about my makeup, what I use, how I use it etc, and asked Bronwen Hurndall (my stunning make-up artist for this post) from MUD SA how I could incorporate MUD in the blog. They’ve asked me to be their brand ambassador for MUD SOUTH AFRICA (sounds larney right) and I am very honoured thank you! BUT the purpose of being one of their brand ambassadors is to teach all of you HOW to use MUD. It’ll be easy for me to represent MUD, because this is what I use every single day! I don’t enjoy bloggers who just blog about something because they get paid to do so! This blog is a platform to share what I actually do, wear and use, daily!
My entire makeup kit is MUD – I don’t like mix and matching various make-up houses. Plus, when you use MUD, you won’t feel the need to use an eyeshadow from X, lipstick from Z and mascara from Y…. It’s a one stop shop.
Hazel is a real little girl! She wants to make-up when mommy make-ups (but ends up eating the brushes more than anything…) thus baby girl now has her own set of brushes… to chew, dust with or throw in the pool 🙂
Over the next few weeks I’ll be going over Eyes, Contouring, Blusher etc step by step, and the products that I use will be available to buy on the shop! I’ll be adding a basic range of MUD (that each lady needs as a start-up kit) on the shop, so watch out for these must haves featuring soon!
Thank you Bronwen Hurndall from BH Make-Up Distribution FS and NC for my make-up for this shoot! And also for including me in MUD SA.
Thank you for my messy hair-do Jadie from Jadie Professionals I loved it!
